About the Owner

Josh Buhler followed the traditional path and studied secondary education for 4 years at Indiana University only to discover his heart was not set in a traditional career path. After college, he explored different career opportunities, finally discovering his passion in life working in the HVAC field. In 2013, Josh began his career making ductwork and completing deliveries for a prominent commercial company in Indianapolis. Finding his love for the industry, he enrolled in a 9-month program to learn the trade. Josh then carried his knowledge and work-ethic into building his own company, Oakland Heating and Air LLC. The company found overnight success, through the company's quality of work and word of mouth. Throughout the years, Oakland, named in remembrance of Josh’s grandparents, grew into a main HVAC provider in Indianapolis. After years in business, Josh is now looking to give back and help others looking for a similar path in the HVAC industry. At Hoosier Trade School, students will get the opportunity to learn from Josh and his team the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in the career of their choice.
